We are aware of recent media coverage regarding the arrest of certain judges who had presided over a case involving the issuance of palm oil export permits during the January–March 2022 period. The reports mention the acquittal of three palm oil companies, including Permata Hijau Group, Wilmar Group, and Musim Mas Group.

We understand that the current developments pertain to judicial conduct, and to date, neither Permata Group nor any of our employees has been implicated in these investigations. Should we be called upon, we remain committed to cooperating fully with the authorities.
