Permata Hijau Group (PHG) is pleased to announce the release of its First Sustainability Report titled: Embracing Change For Better Future. This marks another milestone in PHG’s journey to advance sustainability in our operations as well as our supply chain.

In this Sustainability Report, we share the progresses and achievements of PHG in the space of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG). We are proud to share how our mills equipped with methane capture reduced an estimated 164,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent annually. We are also happy to showcase our partnership with Leuser International Foundation and Barumun Nagari Wildlife Sanctuary in restoring degraded land in Aceh and protecting the endangered Sumatran elephant in North Sumatra. The Sustainability Report also provides an insight into our sustainability governance as well as our roadmap for the future.
